About the event

9/11 Memorial Stair Climb benefitting the Responder Wellness Coalition - presented by Triple T Pumping

Join us to honor the 403 first responders who died at the World Trade Center on 9/11 by climbing 110 flights of stairs (the height of the WTC) while wearing the photo ID badge of one of those first responders.

Participants may climb the stairs or walk 4.03 miles around the track.

Registration includes event t-shirt and the photo ID badge of a firefighter, medic, or police officer who died at the World Trade Center.

Registration fees:

Adults - $30

First Responders of Ashe, Avery and Watauga County - $25 (must enter discount code HERO at checkout)

Children 8-18 - $20 (age-based pricing is automatically applied at checkout) **children age 7 and under can participate in the walk, but will not receive a t-shirt and are not permitted to climb stairs**

REGISTER AS A TEAM - $20 per team member for teams of 5 or more **The first 4 team members to register on a team will pay full price registration until team member #5 registers; thereafter, registration will automatically be discounted to $20 for team member #5 and any additional members that join the team. The first 4 team members will automatically receive a refund of their discount amount when team member #5 joins! The first member of a team to register will name the team and set the password for the team** All participants who register and complete the climb or walk as a team of 5 or more will receive an award for completing the challenge as part of a team!!

This event is handicap accessible. Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome on the track.
